Be strong, honey

My surgeon referred me to another doctor at the nuclear medicine unit. The nuclear doctor would run a complete thyroid tests and after that administer the ablation using radioactive agent knows as Radioactive Iodine 131.

I guess I’ve made peace with the fact that I’m plagued with cancer. But, I’m still not able to wipe away my worries regarding my daughter. The idea of having to stay away from her for quite a period of time during the therapy depresses me.

I tried to hold back my tears whenever I look into her eyes. My dear husband said, “Be strong, darling. We’re in this together.”

Oh, how very lucky I am to have him as my loved one.
